We are happy to say that the Department of Health now covers the cost of contraception for all women and people with a uterus aged between 17 and 30, with or without a medical card. If you do not have a medical card please make sure to give us your P.P.S. number when you request a prescription to be sure that you are not charged. The doctor or nurse will want to see you about every 6 to 12 months and you will not be charged for this.
